Keeping one hand dry

At the farm Lillian was helping Mummy with the cooking. She likes to peel vegetables. Unfortunately she slipped and cut her finger with the vegetable peeler. We put a bandaid on, but the next day it was still bleeding a bit, so when we went in to Foster, we stopped at the medical centre and the nurse cleaned it properly, put a little special purple glue on it to hold the little flap of skin, and a nice new bandaid.

She had to keep her finger dry for two days. In the bath, we put a latex glove on her hand, and fixed it on with a hair tie.

However as she was washing dolls etc. at child care (see previous post), and no doubt getting her finger wet, it was probably all a bit pointless.
